ello you, i love iguanas amber, never had one but my tattooest used to have one in the shop, he was massive, more like a dog than a lizard lol. he was really friendly, used to come and sit on your lap and stuff. but.... he also had another one in his house who was a nasty little thing, used to attack everything, couldnt really get it out at all. i know they take alot more looking after than beardies mate. p.s lol my misses holds the cheque book to, only thing is its MY cheque book lol......... women!!! x

As Alex noted, they can be temperamental. I'd wait until your youngest was a tad older.  Tail whips do hurt.

Iguana's can be really friendly but they can also be very mean especially a male during mating season.

Also they grow to be up to 6 1/2 feet long.

My boyfriend has an iguana.... she USED to be nice, but her previous owner didn't handle her for about a month, and then my boyfriend got her and now she is MEAN. She tail whips when you even go near her cage! haha. Yeah... tail whips don't feel very nice... and I've  heard the bites are even worse! lol  Cheesy
