I finally found a male Veiled chameleon, I have been looking for months now! His name in Mojito or Moe for short. He is rarely handled but I just had to take some pics:D

What does he look like outside of the basking light? Any in the sun pictures?

That is just room light (no flash even), he has much brighter colors under the 10.0. When he gets mad....WOW his colors are twice are bright. He almost reaches a purple color where the brown areas are. Ill post some more pics in a week or two, we don't handle him often.

beautiful creature.... i dont know much about them.... just curious why you dont handle him much? is that cos you have just got him or that will be the case for the duration you have him? thanks!

No, Chameleons just arent social creatures. They don't enjoy being handled and have actually been known to bite if handled too often. It sucks because he's just so darn cute:D

He is a year and a half old, so almost full grown. We found him on Kijiji so we were a little sceptical but the owners seemed to take great care of him and had to sell him due to a move. Everything cost $250 so it was a great deal. He even came with a fogger:D The only downside so far is that roaches are very hard to feed to him so we have to start buying crickets again.
