Someone in town has a leopard gecko that isn't taking care of it and doesn't want it. I asked some questions about it. What is the substrate? They said carpet. Also they said it is blind becuz it shed wrong, if you guys have anything on that please say something. They also said all they feed it is mealworms....So if you have any answers to help me get this guy going again please tell me!  Thanks!

carpet is fine, paper towels, tile, shelf liner.
mealies are fine.
leopards are nocturnal, so they feed mostly as night.
you'll need a warm humid hide and a dry hide.  a water dish and mealie bowl.  they'll also eat crix and roaches, silkworms.

Oh, and to add to that... blind isn't a problem really.. I have a female who is blind... and she is the biggest of all 9 !
Good luck!
