hey im a beginner and im buying a bearded dragon within two months. i went to my local pet store and asked bout the  fluorescent fixtures. he showed me the one that has 3 light bulbs on one fixture. i forgot the name of it but do any of you guys know whut the name would be and what lights would go great with it?

i really dont know anything about the lights and its confusing a tiny bit Sad(

Okay, first, what size is your planned enclosure.  Nothing less than a 40 gal breeder tank will see a dragon through out it's whole life.

The most highly recommended florescent light (uvb) would be the ReptiSUN 10.0 linear tube.  Couple that with a house hold flood light or a 90 watt light bulb, and you've got pretty much all that is needed for most set ups.

Thanks! whut size is it? i wnna buy a hood for the uvb
and for tank i wnna buy a big tank that will be good when he grows adult size
and do i need other lights besides the link u posted? if yes whut would u recommend?

sory, i just dont know much about the lights Sad

Just ask your supplier for a 40 gallon BREEDER tank... it is wider than a normal 40 gallon.

Along side the above mentioned uvb, you will want THIS:

Just use a regular house hold light bulb, or a low wattage house hold flood light.
