Yours is still new to you, yes ?
What he is consuming is normal... and that number will increase, I promise you !

Try offering 10 in the morning, an hour after lights on... and 10 in the evening... if he wants more at either "meal" go ahead and offer..
Hope this helps out.

yes mine is new i will have had her for a week tomarow at about 1 oclock. she loves being out and she seems to like to be lazy and wait for the crickets to walk past her on her log for basking. normally when she chases them she is a step behind them when she snaps down. kinda funny but not cuz i want her to get biggggggggggggggg lol.

10-15 is fine, make sure you dust the crikets with calcium and D vitamin every 2nd day. make sure you also feed him bak-choy or guylan. they need there dark green leaves, also give him peppers, yellow and orange is my little guys favorite. make sure you also learn to give him a light warm bath every few days. don't make the water to deep. also if you get a chance, after he is more trusting of you, bring into your yard for natural sunlight.  bring a tank object with you, so he can hid if he is scared. make sure to watch him, because they will start to run..let him run just be careful. do not leave him alone outside!! I will feed my little guy in the morning then offer him a few more later in the day..just think of him like yourself, when it comes to eating. unless you are a overeater or anorexic Wink

i have a new breadie too.. he only eats twice a day, by his choice.. the first feed he can eat up to 15-20 hoppers an the second feed he only eats 10 max.. he eats his veg as well.. is this normal (not the veg the amount of hoppers).. reading everyone elses comments, it seems he should be eating more.. the pet shop said to feed him 4-5 hoppers 3 times a day but when we got him home he was starving an ate 10 in less than a min but now he seems happy to just eat between 15-20 at his big feed as i call it and a few later on.. he has his active spurts an then climbs up on his leaves and chills there for a while.. is this right then?
